Since 2005, the AI and Big Data Laboratory is a research and education center dedicated to nurturing future technology leaders and promoting the application of innovative technologies. Our labs are dedicated to artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and algorithm development, and are designed to provide students with comprehensive academic training and hands-on experience that will enable them to excel in the industry.

In addition, the lab also looks at the application of artificial intelligence and big data technologies to sports science. We are committed to using these technologies to analyze and optimize athletes’ performance to improve their performance in competition. These studies not only involve the collection and analysis of data on the training and competitive process, but also use this data to develop personalized training plans and strategies.

Database management

To train students in designing, building and managing modern database systems. The course covers the basic concepts of relational databases, the theory and practice of database design, the application of SQL language, and the optimization and management of database performance. Students will learn how to model data, design relational data tables, and understand the principles of database formalization. In addition, the course will introduce database security and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability. Through hands-on exercises, students will learn how to use various database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) to handle complex data management tasks. Machine Learning & Big Data

To provide students with an in-depth understanding of the core principles of machine learning and its application in the context of big data. The course covers the basic concepts of machine learning, algorithm design, model training and evaluation, and big data processing techniques. Students will learn how to use machine learning techniques to analyze large amounts of data to extract valuable information and insights. The programme also includes practical case studies and applications, enabling students to combine theory and practice to master the application of machine learning in the era of big data.

Sport Science

It is a discipline that explores the physiological and mechanical phenomena exhibited by athletes in the process of sports. This course aims to provide students with a comprehensive knowledge of exercise and health, covering the fields of biomechanics, data measurement and collection, data analysis, and image visual processing. Students will learn how to use scientific principles to analyze and improve athletes’ athletic performance, and learn how to improve fitness and performance through personalized training programs.
